1. Accepting these terms

These SweetMeet terms and conditions are the rules for using the SweetMeet dating app, our website and any related features (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use SweetMeet. You can also read how we use cookies in our Cookie Policy.

2. Who can use SweetMeet

SweetMeet is for adults only. To use the Service, you confirm that:

  • you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher;
  • you are legally able to enter into an agreement with us;
  • you have not previously been removed from SweetMeet for breaking these terms; and
  • you are not using the Service where doing so would be unlawful.

People under 18 are not allowed to use SweetMeet. If we believe an account belongs to someone under 18, we may delete the account and the personal data connected to it.

3. Your account

You may need an account to use parts of the Service. You can also sign in through a supported social networking service where we offer that option. Please keep these basics in mind:

  • Be accurate. Give true, current information when you register and keep it up to date.
  • One person, one account. Your account is personal. You may not transfer, lease or sell it.
  • Keep your login safe. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account.
  • Tell us about problems. If you think someone else is using your account, contact us using the details in section 12.

By registering, you also agree to the handling of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Respectful conduct

SweetMeet works best when people feel comfortable. When you use the Service, you agree to treat others the way you would like to be treated: honestly, kindly, and with respect for a “no” or a lack of reply.

What is not allowed

You may not use SweetMeet to:

  • harass, threaten, bully or pressure other people;
  • post or send hateful, discriminatory or abusive content;
  • pretend to be another person or misrepresent who you are;
  • run scams, ask other users for money or gifts, or promote fraudulent schemes;
  • send unsolicited explicit content;
  • advertise, sell or promote products or services to other users;
  • share another person’s private information without their consent; or
  • copy, scrape or collect data about other users, or interfere with how the Service works.

What we expect

Be clear about what you are looking for, accept when someone is not interested, and end a conversation politely if it is not working. You are always free to stop talking to someone.

5. Your profile and content

Your photos, text, interests and messages are your “content.” You keep ownership of it. To run the Service, you give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store and display your content within SweetMeet according to your profile and visibility choices. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep it by law or it has been shared with others in conversations.

You are responsible for your content. It must be:

  • accurate, including photos that actually show you;
  • lawful and not infringing anyone else’s rights; and
  • appropriate for a community of adults who expect respectful behavior.

You decide what appears on your profile, and other people see only what you choose to share there. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

6. Reporting and blocking

You stay in control of who you talk to. If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can:

  • Block them to end contact with that person; or
  • Report the profile if you see unwanted behavior or content that seems to break these terms.

We review reports. Depending on what we find, we may take action such as removing content, limiting features, or suspending or removing an account. We cannot promise a particular outcome or response time, and we may not be able to share the details of any action with you.

7. Service availability and changes

We work to keep SweetMeet running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control.

We may add, change or remove features over time. If we offer optional paid features, they will be governed by separate terms shown to you at the time of purchase.

8. Intellectual property

The SweetMeet name, logo, design, text, software and other materials in the Service belong to [Company Name] or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, scrape or create derivative works from any part of the Service unless we give you written permission.

9. Disclaimers and limits of liability

SweetMeet is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that you will find matches, have conversations, or form a friendship or relationship. We also cannot guarantee how other users behave, or that every profile is accurate.

Stay safe when meeting people. Take your time getting to know someone, meet in a public place, tell a friend your plans, and never send money to someone you have met online. Use the block and report tools whenever something feels off.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Company Name] is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service or from interactions with other users. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. Once it is deleted, your access to the Service ends, and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or remove an account if it breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is used unlawfully, including accounts that appear to belong to someone under 18. Where it is reasonable and safe to do so, we will explain why.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know, for example through the app, on our website or by email, before the changes take effect where possible. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when the terms were most recently revised.

If you keep using SweetMeet after the changes take effect, you are accepting the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Law Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

If you have questions about these terms, or want to report a concern, contact us:
